Employee discrimination and harassment complaints, hostile work environment allegations, theft and vandalism, substance abuse - sooner or later almost every manager will be called upon to investigate one or more of these issues. But that's easier said than done.

Internal workplace investigations take time. They interrupt the daily work that needs to be done. They involve sensitive legal and ethical issues which can expose an organization to litigation, damage its reputation, and threaten managers' careers.
